About us

The “Support Ministries” Foundation works together with other ministries within the Kingdom of God and is a channel for the ministry of Dolf de Voogd van der Straaten and Cees Bakker.

Dolf de Voogd van der Straaten

"Roep luidkeels, houd niet in, verhef uw stem als een bazuin"

From a young age he felt the presence of God. God led him, and he grew in his service to the Lord, despite trials. In 1991 he lost his focus on everything but Jesus, but God restored him and led him into church leadership and prophetic ministry.

Since 1998 he has traveled a lot and he believes that prophetic ministry is important in God’s Kingdom. He wants to encourage people to change their lives and come closer to Jesus. He is married to Firdaus and they live in Vlissingen. They have two children and six grandchildren.

Prophets break through obstacles that stop people from growing in their faith in Jesus. They challenge traditional ideas and focus on maturity and freedom in faith. Because of this they are sometimes not popular in the traditional church. They do not seek their own followers, but want to help people get to know Jesus better. They are focused on long-term changes and speak the truth, not to please but to build the Kingdom of God.

Dolf wrote the book “Through the Eye of a Prophet”. The book emphasizes that the Kingdom of God is bigger than the church and that a renewed way of thinking is crucial for spiritual growth. Dolf challenges readers to focus on Jesus and the expansion of God’s Kingdom, and to change their way of thinking for more maturity and freedom.

He wants to make Jesus Christ clear through God’s Word and the Holy Spirit. He helps people develop their gifts and advises leaders and churches. He has served worldwide, from Europe to Asia and America.
